ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Timings depend on whether the lab is there or not... If the lab is there then it will extend to 5 pm from 9 am Or else 9 am to 1 pm will be active, Experienced lectures are very good at teaching.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

Nearly 5 clubs are included our college, NSS is the very good experience for our students. NSS helps to improve our leadership quality, independence. Other clubs are active every week that helps to gain technical knowledge from our seniors... Like GEON, GLUE, Rotaract etc...

ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Class timings are from morning 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. On some days we have 9 to 5 pm including lab. The quality of teaching is good because most of the lecturers are experienced.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

ISTE, NSS, Cultural club are the main clubs. Apart from this, we have Redcross club, Kannada Sangha. The life in college, in general, is very good.

Our college is very strict in the aspect of pUnctuality not even one minute late. Regular internal assessments and assignments will be carried out and promising teachers.
Overall im fully satisfied with my college.

About Government Engineering College, [GEC] Hassan

Government Engineering College, Hassan (GECH) started in the year 2007 is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The Government of Karnataka under Department of Technical Education established 10 engineering colleges during the year 2007-08. GEC Hassan is one such college established with four branches of engineering namely, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.

A huge building with planned utilities has come up in forty acres land. The Government of Karnataka started these Government Engineering Colleges with one of the objectives

As quoted by renowned educator Nido Qubein,"Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start", our Institution, although having a rough start, is slowly evolving to become one of the elite technical institutes providing quality technical education.

The Students are admitted to college only through CET with very normal tuition fee. Most of students admitted are from weaker economical background. They either get fee reimbursement by Government Of Karnataka or scholarships from various social welfare departments.
