The GVP College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam started in 1996, has very quickly established itself as one of the most preferred private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The college has been accredited by NAAC in 2009 with an A grade. The college has been sanctioned “Autonomous” status by the UGC and conferred by the affiliating University, JNT University, Kakinada in 2009. GVPCE has established the Scientific & Industrial Research Centre recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. GVP College of Engineering is a partner with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and government of Germany in establishing and managing the Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology, Visakhapatnam since 2005. The college vision is to evolve into and sustain as a Centre of Excellence in Technological Education and Research with a holistic approach. The college mission is to produce high-quality engineering graduates with the requisite theoretical and practical knowledge and social awareness to be able to contribute effectively to the progress of the society through their chosen field of endeavor and to undertake research & development, and extension activities in the fields of Science and Engineering in areas of relevance for immediate application as well as for strengthening or establishing fundamental knowledge.
The college has developed a transparent and efficient admission process for aspiring candidates in 2022. GVPCE every year offers a large number of courses to interested students. Admission is done every year in the month of July. Initially, International Students will be given provisional admission to obtain student Visa from the Indian Embassy in their home country. Applications will be received throughout the year. The total process of admission will take about one month's time, after the receipt of all required documents from the student. GVP College of Engineering has five UG Programs, ten PG Programs and eight departments were recognized as Research Centers by the affiliated University, Kakinada. All the seven UG programs are accredited by NBA and five of them are accredited as per outcome-based Education (OBE) and five PG programs are applied for NBA as per OBE. GVPCE offers M.C.A Course also. GVP College of Engineering offers a wide range of courses and specialization in B. Tech and M. Tech courses. These courses are offered to students based on marks scored in their respective entrance exams.

The application form is available on the college official website. Interested students need to download the complete application form and filled it by a dull date. Every year application form is released by the college. The application form contains different sections that are to be filled by candidates in his/her own handwriting in Block Letters. Details such as course applied for, Candidates Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name along with Passport Size photograph, gender, residential address, along with details of DD such as DD Number, etc are to be provided. GVPCE completed application forms along with the submission of original documents should be submitted on or before the notified date. Any failure to complete the procedure of admission will not be entertained.
Admission fees vary for different courses. GVPCE Fee includes tuition fees, registration fees, examination fees, Library and Laboratory fees for different courses. The fee for B. Tech is INR 1,08,550/-. GVPCE M. Tech fees are INR 71,650/-. The fees vary for remaining batches is INR 66,000/-. MCA course consists of INR 43,250/-.
Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. Our degree programs are designed to equip you for a career at the forefront of innovation. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.

The college takes admission for various PG Courses. The institute offers a two-year full-time M. Tech degree course for interested students. M. Tech courses are offered in different branches such as Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation engineering.

The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for my course B.Tech is you need to rank at least 10000 below rank for OC candidates in the examination named EAMCET. The process is you must get allotted to this college by the conveyor. And submit the required documents in the office before the due date. As I mentioned before the entrance exam is EAMCET.

Candidate must clear the AP EAMCET/JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. Minimum 70% cutoff mark is required. The AP EAMCET rank must be below 2000 for CSE and must be below 5000 for ECE.

You have to write EAMCET exam to enter into this college. It is one of the top-rated colleges, so cut off rate is a bit high compared to other colleges. One should have a good EAMCET rank to enter into this college.
