For B.Tech students there are no stipends. After B.Tech I pursued M.tech in Chemical Engineering, for getting into M.Tech you have 2 entrance examinations such as PGECET and GATE.
The persons who are qualified for GATE are eligible for stipends and they will get seats in IITS, NITS or other Universities and affiliated colleges depending upon their ranks.
The persons who are qualified for PGECET are eligible for getting a seat in their respective state only with no stipends.
For Chemical Engineering there are a lot of companies like NFCL, REDDY LABS, DECCAN FINE CHEMICALS, TRIMEX SANDS etc are hiring at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, [GVPCE] Vishakhapatnam.
The average salary for starting engineers is Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum.

No, I haven't done any internship. Companies like TECH MAHENDRA, TCS, WIPRO. Salary is 2 lakhs (INR) per month. NO, it's not available for this college.

I have got a remote internship at TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) for zero stipends and it is work from home.
I have got the campus placement in TCS during placements 2017.
TCS has offered this kind of internship for few of their selects during campus placements.
We will get such offers from various companies during the last semester (in final year) for all the branches. If we try hard we may get stipend too.
Most of the companies that visit our campus will be IT companies like TCS, WIPRO, CTS, YODLEE and so on. Some of the manufacturing companies like MEDHA SERVO DRIVES, TATA MOTORS, HYUNDAI do visit our college but the opportunity in IT sector is more than Core sector.
Average salary figure considering all the companies that visit our company will be around Rs 3.3 lakhs per annum and the highest salary figure is around Rs 10 lakhs per annum.
Approximately 70 percent of the people will get placed during campus placements in our college. A talented person can get more than two offers even.
Our college has good Alumni network. They always take the suggestions from the Alumni.
Based on the inputs given by the Alumni and industrial experts our Curriculum will be changed every two years at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, [GVPCE] Vishakhapatnam.

Many internships are available after 3rd year.
TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Mahindra etc. are the key companies that come for placements. Minimum of 15 companies will approach GVPCE every year.
Rs. 6,00,000 is average salary package and highest is Rs. 10,00,000
60% students get placed either in core or non-core jobs.
Alumni network is good.
