Placements & Internships : I have done one internship from Google and also have participated in TECHFEST (KSHITIJ-2017) at IIT Kharagpur. The college academic will support you to join in these events and they also provide some projects which will lead a student for his startup career in engineering. Events are done by the college on campus also. Mainly Infosys, TCS, Tech-Mahindra are the common companies who take freshers. Various types of interview rounds are also followed by the companies. There are also training systems to make a student as a perfect fresher to a company. Due to down demand in IT sectors, nowadays it may be difficult to hire freshers otherwise college placement is very good. The highest salary was offered by the companies around 3 lakhs per annum. In 2016, most of the students of the final year got jobs in many companies. GITA also has a strong relationship with the Alumni as they have given proud moments to college. Many of them are placed in big companies and also some are continuing their higher studies in some good institutions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission in GITA is that the candidate should have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with science. Then the students have to score good marks in JEE MAIN. Your admission will be done systematically. Generally, there are no such big burdens to confirm your branch by your choice.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is 1.54 lakhs per year. Different scholarship options are available for different categories/ castes. Nearly 60-70% of the students have got the scholarships. Loans can be easily availed from PNB (Punjab National Bank).

Academics & Faculty : Classes start at 8 AM and end at 2:30 PM. Break is also there for 30 minutes. Each class continues for 1.5 hrs. Lectures are very punctual. The teaching method is excellent. Extra classes are also arranged by faculties during the evening hours. GITA has a very good impression in Odisha. My overall experience is 70% fulfilled.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 25 hostels according to separate branches for both boys and girls. Hostel fee is INR 60000 per annum. Food quality is average. Canteens are also there. The cost per meal is INR 50-60. Classrooms are having CCTV cameras, projectors. Labs are well equipped with smart lab materials. There is a Central Library which is so much attractive and having central AC and theater is also there for watching movies and for entertainment. Dinning halls are also under CCTV securities. Dinning system is overall good. Wi-Fi is also available in each hostel with 10-15 MBPS speed with 1 GB limit per day. College infrastructure is well maintained and also attractive. Gardens are also green and beautiful. Design of the academic building is superb.

Clubs & Associations : The students have some extra facilities like Music Club, Photography Club, Gym Center, Workshops, etc. The college organizes its own TECHFEST(Akanksha). In this fest, students from different colleges can participate in different projects. Exciting projects and games are also arranged by college seniors. A grand function is also organized by the college. College life is awesome. College is having a good environment for study and extra curricular activities.
