Availing aspirants of exceptional international programs, the education at FORE School of Management is an experience that all students deserve. Yet, the expensive tuition fees and dearth of hostel facilities make the students question if it's worth it.

Foundation for Organisational Research and Education School of Management has an innovative approach to its teaching and pedagogy. Students must have a minimum cut-off percentage in the entrance exam to get admission to the institute.

On the contrary, the campus infrastructure of the FORE School of Management is smaller than its contemporaries, with limited facilities. For instance, the institute lacks an on-campus housing facility, but it does offer hostels outside the campus. The institute offers ample amount of opportunities for its graduates in highly reputed companies and brands.

Another impressive feature of the institute is its foreign exchange program, where eligible students have the option to study one trimester abroad. Additionally, students are taken to universities for the International Immersion Program as well.

Ranked among the top 50 B-schools in the country, FORE School of Management was established in 1981 as a non-profit institution. The institute is located in the Qutub Institutional area in New Delhi, with the prime locations at an arm's distance.

The institute mainly offers postgraduate and fellowship programs in the field of Management. The programs available at the institute are approved by AICTE. The courses at FORE are designed in such a way as to nourish the managerial skills of the students, such as decision-making, innovation, problem-solving and communication.

Similar to the other courses, the Fellow program at FORE is also approved by AICTE. The main objective of the program is to polish the knowledge of graduates in research.

An interesting factor about pursuing PGDM programs at FORE is their International Immersion Program (IIP), where the students are taken to the international institutions that are partnering with FORE. This is a mandatory program for all PGDM students, which helps them to learn and experience the international business environment with exposure to global business in their respective specializations.

The IIP also offers an extraordinary experience to the students by travelling with the entire batch to international countries. According to the students, this has been an unmatched experience.

Student Exchange Program (SEP)

The Student Exchange Program (SEP) is available for those students who wish to spend a term of three months in one of the foreign partner institutions. The students are selected based on a screening process, and the selected students are provided with a scholarship grant of INR 1,00,000 to meet their expenses of studying abroad. The program fee at the host institution is waived as well.

Good Mix of Young and Old Professors

A major attractive factor of the institute is its faculty members. The professors are highly educated with abundant industry knowledge. Both old and new-generation professors are part of the faculty, which helps in learning the older concepts with an updated perspective.

More than half of the professors have doctoral degrees from international universities and have hands-on experience working in the Management domain. They are easily approachable and assist with different matters related to the student’s career.

One of the drawbacks of FORE School of Management is that it has a small infrastructure compared to the other B-Schools. Nevertheless, the facilities available in the institute are modern and adequate to enhance the overall campus experience. The location of the institute is the primary factor that attracts students to this institute.

The distinctive facilities included in the institute infrastructure are a well-stocked library, hi-tech classrooms, language laboratories and a computer centre, among others. The other amenities available on the campus consist of reprographics, fax machine, STD-ISD booth, and so on.

The library at the institute is considered to be its spine, which is curated in such a way that the students, researchers and faculty have access to all the required materials to help them improve their knowledge in different areas. Over thousands of online databases and international journals are available in the library.

The standalone Language Laboratory in the institute infrastructure allows students and teachers to practice effective language learning to nurture communication skills. It consists of Interactive English software and headsets with mics to enhance the listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. This helps the students to be well-prepared for the placement interviews and further their careers.

Absence of On-Campus Hostels

The institute does not have its own hostel facilities. However, the institute offers housing facilities by partnering with groups for boys and girls. The rooms are available for single and double occupancy, with the required furniture and amenities.

These hostels also have mess facilities where clean and decent meals are provided for breakfast and dinner. The hostels are located 1.5 kilometres away from the institute campus, which makes it convenient for the students to reach on time.

There are no particular rules and restrictions imposed on the students. This helps students to freely move around. The institute takes special care to ensure the student’s safety and security as well.

The overall fees, including the food charges for single and double occupancy rooms, are as follows.

Room Type

Diversity & Inclusivity

Students from various backgrounds are part of the crowd at the institute. Those who have different undergraduate degrees come together to learn and acquire high-quality knowledge in the Management field.
