Entrance Exams & Admissions : A candidate who has passed P.U.C or Higher Secondary (10+2) with a minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry & Electronics (PCE) are eligible for admission. Selection through Entrance Exam: KCET / COMEDK UGET/ MANAGEMENT Admissions: Applicants from India must send Rs.500/- Cheque/ Demand Draft/ Bank Draft along with an application. Applicants from Foreign Countries must send 15 USD Demand Draft/ Bank Draft along with an application. On receiving the above amount, EWIT brochure will be mailed by post to your specified address.

Placements & Internships : Internships: Students can apply for Internships, and no assistance will be provided by College.  Many students have been placed in MNC's. Some of the companies which visit EWIT college are IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Accord, Tech Mahindra, Polaris, Integra, DSL, Accord etc. However, there are very few Core companies for Mechanical and Civil Engineering students. Students of Mechanical engineering or Civil Engineering can get into IT Industry during Campus recruitment if they are comfortable working in IT Industry.  

Fees & Scholarships : FEES: Engineering Fees is based on Karnataka Govt. fee structure for the students who are seeking addmissions through CET, for the students seeking addmission through COMED K the fee is comparitively high. Students who want to get admitted to college by Management Quota, can directly get in touch with College, the Fee for management quota is different for each branch.

Academics & Faculty : Academics: EWIT College has CSE, ISE, E&C, Mechanical Engg, Civil Engg, EEE Departments. Only CSE, ISE, E&C departments are good, they still have to excel in Mechanical, Civil, and EEE departments. Faculty: Faculties are good only in E&C, CSE, ISE, Department of Maths. They still have to recruit some good Lecturers for Mechanical, Civil, and EEE. EWIT College Salary for Lecturers is comparatively low when compared with other Engineering colleges, that's the main reason they are not able to Hire some good Lecturers in the above-said departments. LIBRARY: College has a good Library which has good Technical books, Textbooks, Question Papers (Previous Exam) of all the branches and departments.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure: EWIT College has good infrastructure and facilities, spread across 18 acres with a lot of greenery around the campus. College is well built with different blocks for each department. It has a big cricket ground and Basket Ball Court inside the campus. It has Boys Hostel inside the campus and Girls Hostel is located in the City Campus. College provides buses for the students to commute from major parts of Bangalore City, it has a decent canteen and Canara Bank inside the campus. there is a good parking place for both 2 wheelers and 4 Wheelers inside the campus.

Clubs & Associations : EWIT college encourages sports and has in-house Sports club for indoor sports. It has its own Cricket Team competing for regularly in Inter College tournaments and has won many Awards.  EWIT regularly conducts college Fest Aakriti. Many engineering colleges participate regularly in department fest and make the fest success. EWIT ropes in many celebrities as a chief guest for Aakriti fest.
