College timing will be from 8.15 am to 1.35 pm.
There are six semesters in total.
Internal marks include attendance, monthly tests, assignment, seminars.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

Many clubs are there like the rotary club, etc.
NCC and NSS help students to be furnished.

Daily morning classes begin at 8:15 am and ends at 1:35 pm. There is a break of 20 mins from 11:15 am to 11:35 am.

There are many clubs in which the students can join and do their service activity and showcase their talents.

Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College has been conferred the status of “AUTONOMY” by the UGC and endorsed by the University of Madras from the academic year 2009 - 2010. Consequently students admitted to various UG, PG and M.Phil courses during the academic year 2009 - 2010 will come under Autonomous pattern.

The founding of the College was in the year 1964. His Holiness 108 Goswami Shri Maharajshri Mathureshwarji laid the foundation stone for the building on 13th November 1963 at “Gokul Bagh”. In the year of its incep-tion, the College offered a degree course in Mathematics along with Pre-University Courses. The very next year degree courses in Physics and Economics were introduced.

LIBRARY

The college has a well stocked library with all the latest and advanced technological support system. Housed in a three storeyed building with ample space, airy and well lit interiors, it has a valuable collection of over 57,000 books and numerous journals which are easily accessible. The Reading room and the reference hall provide a congenial atmopshere for learning and research. Post graduate and Research departments have their own departmental libraries.
