Academics & Faculty : Speaking from personal experience the cordial relationship between the students and faculty helps a lot. The professors were adequately knowledgeable and readily available for queries even beyond the curriculum. Even during the pandemic, the college operated smoothly and education was not compromised.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The college accepts JEE/WBJEE entrance examination results. The eligibility criteria was a nominal 60% overall in Higher Secondary.

Fees & Scholarships : The fee structure for B.Tech in CSE for students who got admitted in 2018 was 4,00,000. It is paid in 8 semesters throughout the four years, with about 80,000 paid in the first installment (includes the admission fees and caution money which is refundable after graduation) Scholarships include: TFW as well as all state/central funded scholarships.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The computer science department was well equipped with the necessary facilities. We had adequate systems to accommodate the students.

Placements & Internships : The placement opportunities are good. We had companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Hexaware, Optum, Persistent and many more. One complaint I had with all TnP departments in most colleges, which was the case in ours too, was that once you get a company's offer, they do not allow you for other companies. Even on requesting the principal to change such rules, or at least allow for companies with 1.5-2 times the current package, such requests were not entertained.

Clubs & Associations : The college holds a Tech fest and Cultural Fest annually as well as Annual Sports Day. There are various other hackathons and competitions held regularly. Though I was disappointed when the management did not organize one last ceremonial distribution for the graduation ceremony. With no pandemic and lockdown or any other restrictions we could've had a proper graduation ceremony.
