Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission in BE courses will be done on the basis of merit list. Eligibilty criteria for admission in BE courses 1. Students have to pass their 10+2 or diploma of three years from a recognised board. 2. there is no minimum age bar limit to get admission into of BE courses. Gap year(s) would be no bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses.

Placements & Internships : L&t Reliance SR company, that big companies hire students from our college campus *The average salary for freshers employees is Rs. 203432 per year * A well-established and active association of MBA Alumni is expected, which provided tangible networking and lifelong learning opportunities for its members.

Academics & Faculty : The Daily Routine at Dr S & SS Ghandhy Government Engineering College, Surat, starts with classes starting at 10:30 am till 5:10 pm. There will be 4 exams per semester (Mid exam, External exam, Internal Viva & External Viva). The Quality of Teaching is very good at the campus. My overall experience has been excellent. It was a raging free campus. Our seniors also help us in all problems and give instruction to us. In the first semester, all the students had to make an open-ended problem in a group of 4 - 5 students and our group had made a Vacuum Cleaner *Teaching quality is excellent *Overall it's a good college if you want to study they will help you with everything and if you don't they don't force you for anything the best thing about college is their placements they have many good sources for placements.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels present in Dr S & SS Ghandhy Government Engineering College, Surat and every hostel has 5 buildings. The hostel fee is Rs 5,000 with a facility for lunch at 12:30 pm and dinner at 8:00 pm. * Pg per month cost is about 3000 * Food as available in monthly cost 1200 Rs in 50 Rs per plate *Very good infrastructure, full of amenities. Good and well equipped labs fully ac having lifts etc. Proper hygiene is maintained and overall a good atmosphere for students. Many food outlets have some delicious mouthwatering food. Overall a good environment.

Clubs & Associations : *The College holds a Tech-fest, a Sports week and cultural festival. The College has a committed anti-ragging committee *Important festivals on campus are all like management, tech fest and also sport and cultural *Clg life is the best life ever.
