Delhi School of Social Work (DSSW) Placement Details

DSSW has a vibrant M.A. (Final) Batch of  around 70 students every year from diverse educational, professional and regional backgrounds, but who possess the common vision of making a difference to the lives of the clients and the constituencies that we engage with. During the two years of undertaking the field practicum, students invest 1000+ hours in concurrent fieldwork practice under the close supervision of our expert faculty. The fieldwork program provides them the necessary exposure and experience to apply their theoretical knowledge to the sites of practice and to undertake the challenges of working as a social work professional.

Every year a wide range of organisations, including corporate sector (for welfare officers and deputy managers), private sector social enterprises (for project executives and management trainees ), scholarship programmes ( national and international foundations like America India Foundation, Gandhi Fellows), schools (for school social workers), hospitals (for medial social workers) , other governmental and nongovernmental organisations, research oriented institutions, social action and advocacy groups 
hailing from different parts of the country connect with us and hire students from our institution.

All final placement actvities are coordinated by the Placement Cell under the guidance of the Field Work and Placements Director.
