There are 4 hostels available, 2 for boys and 2 for girls separately and food here is good and hostel fee is around 65k Outside college hostels are also good but food will not be that good when compared to college hostel outside hostels cost about 40k Coming to infrastructure its all best and they provide with best classrooms and with good ventilation dining halls are good and cafeteria provides food for students but cost is a little high that should be there but quality is good
To promote a spirit of continuous learning among its students the college assures peaceful and enriching hours in the library. One of the major highlights of the library is its built up area of 1386 Sq.m, which is best in twin cities. Excellent reading halls that has reference books, hand books, dictionaries and encyclopedias. It has about 65,270 volumes and 7911 Titles and there are a total number of 292 National and International journals in our library. The college has a large collection of books relating to various branches of Engineering and Computer Science, Physical Sciences, English Language and Management. There is also a facility for students and staff to go through previous question papers made available in the Library whenever required. The Library subscribes to various national and international journals/periodicals for the use of both staff and students.
Football, hockey, cricket ground, basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball courts have been maintained by the Department of Physical Education. Outdoor and indoor recreation facility is available both during and after college hours, in its sports complex building. The college's sports council conducts annual sport events and also organizes Inter-collegiate tournaments.
To have a feeling of ‘A Home Away From Home’, our hostel complex is a comfortable place to stay. The College has separate hostel facilities for about 300 boys and 300 girls. The girls' hostel is located in the college premises, in the CMR Technical campus which is at affordable cost of Rs. 40,000/- per annum. The hostel runs a mess. A separate TV room and reading room are provided in the Girls’ and Boys' Hostel. The boys’ hostel is located in the Kompally ‘X’ Road which is 5K.M away from the college, Rs 45,000/- per annum. Full time resident wardens are available to take care of hostellers and to maintain the discipline. A stand by power generator is available with full time attendant in the hostel to operate during power failures.

The college is a large spacious area with the variety of refreshments and meals available it tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects. College canteen provides delicious and hygienic food at very affordable prices. South Indian, north Indian, Chinese food both vegetarian and non vegetarian are available.
The college provides round the clock ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) facility both for the students and staff members so that they can do withdrawals of money at any point of time without hassles. It is located at a point where it is easily accessible to every individual to cater to the needs of their monitory transactions.
An excellent postal service is provided in the college for the postal correspondence and the transit to be well taken care of by the concerned persons. In addition, the parents are informed about their wards’ performance in the examinations and their attendance in the form of monthly progress reports to be sent at regular intervals through post office available.
A medical room is available in the campus during working hours with all requisite facilities and emergency medicine. Dr Anand Kumar David, ph: 8008557623 is the full medical officer assisted by a trained nurse. Ambulance facility is also available at the medical centre. The college also has a tie-up with Malla Reddy Hospitals for availing their facilities at concessional rates.
A well furnished lounge offers a conductive atmosphere for the girl to rest and relax when required. Some of the senior women faculty counsels the students, according to necessary.
The stunningly beautiful Auditorium is an architectural delight and is a definite feather in the cap of CMR’S suite of infrastructure. Special care has been taken to build this auditorium so that its acoustics are at optimum levels. And it also has an ultra modern dynamic sound system installed. This newly built auditorium hosts regularly many national level symposiums, college functions and other gala and colourful cultural fests.
Water is not just an ordinary need to the human beings. It plays a major role in all of ours life. College gives most care towards the provision of safe water to each and every individual. A Reverse Osmosis Process-based mineral water plant is established in college, which can supply 600 Ltrs / Hr pure and safe drinking water. In addition to this water coolers are also provided to the students. Also, we maintain an exclusive team of Administration staff to look after the water plant regularly, through which the College is assuring the safe water to all our students and staff.
CMR CET has a well – equipped Air-conditioned Seminar hall in every department and it is aesthetically designed where all the important workshops and seminars are held. The seminar halls are facilitated with the latest technology and are well equipped with Multimedia projectors and Audio Video amenities. Each hall can be accommodated up to 150 students and interactive sessions are taken up by the faculty, industry for students.
The college has dedicated Drawing Hall with all the necessary amenities. The students are taught the intricacies of engineering drawing under the supervision of well experienced faculty.
CMRCET has well stocked stationary point where materials like drawing sheets, drafters, aprons, lab records, writing materials etc., with photocopying facility are available.
