I don't know about the college hostels but college canteen is too much good they cook awesome food and fresh food.
There are some hostels on our campus. Food quality is average and cheap. Labs are very good.
The College has designed project and research oriented curriculum in all Autonomous PG departments. It has also extended the students centric and ICT supported teaching and learning mechanism in both UG and PG courses. To expedite the curriculum, college has arranged a good number of Digital Class Rooms in both the campus. The digital class room has LCD Projector, Internet connectivity, Computer, Laptop & arrangement for visual exhibition of hard copies. Both students and teachers are in regular use of these class rooms. College has a plan to connect these rooms though Wi-Fi connectivity.
The health Centre located on the campus provides limited medical testing and medication. It remains open daily and functions on a limited schedule by visiting physicians. College is a universal member of students’ Health Home. Students are entitled to receive services from Barrackpore unit and central unit of the Students’ Health Home.
An Auditorium “Bibhuti Bhusan Hall”(16mX11.25m) has been set up at 6, Riverside Road
Campus. It was inaugurated on 22.09.2007 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Budhadeb Bhattacharyya. It is well equipped with sound system, LCD Projector etc. Regular programmes (e.g. XXth ABPC Annual Conference, Career Fair, Inauguration of SUPROVA-Cultural Programme by the Students’ Union, Alumni Annual Meet etc.) are being held at this Auditorium.
Faculty Members are available to students for consultation and advice on personal & social problems. Counselling classes are available in the routine. There are cubicles for each department & space in the library for academic counselling. Students can have their specific academic problems sorted out with the help of their respective teachers. This offer remains open for Part I, II & III Examinees during slack session [Feb. - May]. The service is extended for both advance and backward students.
