Barkatullah University, earlier known as Bhopal University is a public university established back in 1970. The university was given its name to honor the memory of the freedom fighter Professor Barkatullah who was born in Bhopal. 

The university has a huge campus of around 400 acres and is located along the Hoshangabad Highway. The campus offers a lot of facilities including a hostel, guest house, post office, bank, printing press, etc BU is funded by the state government and serves as an affiliating university for more than 64 government colleges and 159 private colleges across eight other districts providing degrees to most of the non-technical colleges in and around Bhopal.

Notable alumni of the university include the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Kailash Satyarthi. The university got a “B” grade accreditation by NAAC in 2015

BU Bhopal Result Recent Updates:

Barkatullah University released its 2021 result for B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA. The results for all the programs are published on the official result portal in the University website and on no other mode. Generally, the Controller of Examination will issue the mark sheet from your respective college.  The results for the upcoming exams will be published on January 28th, 2021 (Tentatively).

BU Bhopal serves as an affiliating college for over 150 colleges under it. So all in all, there are various courses and programs overseen by the university and since they don’t all get published at the same time, students studying in a BU affiliated college should keep checking the university’s official website as the results will only get posted on the official portal and in no other mode.

1. Visit the official website of Barkatullah University.
2. On the homepage, scroll down and click on Online Results
3. On clicking the link you’ll be redirected to a page that’ll display a list of results
4. Click on your respective course
5. The next webpage is the result portal, where you’ll have to enter your roll number and click on Search
6. The result will be displayed on the next screen.
7. You can then choose to print and keep a hard copy for future reference.

BU Bhopal MPOnline:

MPOnline is an online portal created, as part of the Digital India Movement, by the Madhya Pradesh State Government. Along with the many facilities it offers, they also have a results portal for certain universities including Barkatullah University.

Students can find out about their results and even make fee payments through the MPOnline results page. On visiting their result portal, students will have to provide their details including the roll number and the results will be displayed.

Revaluation of BU Bhopal Result 2021

After checking the results, if students are not happy about the results they’ve received, they can apply for a revaluation/rechecking/scrutiny of the answer script. To apply, students must submit the application form, within 15 days after the results get declared, to the Registrar. The form and the prescribed fee should be submitted before the deadline. The revaluation result will be published on the university’s online result portal itself.

BU Bhopal Supplementary Result:

If a student fails to clear an exam, they can apply for the supplementary exam so that they have a chance to attempt the subject again. The supplementary exams generally get conducted around August/September. Students who wish to apply for the supplementary exam should submit the application form and the prescribed fee before the deadline. The supplementary exam result will be declared on the university website itself.
