LLM [Master of Laws] Details

BHU LL.M course is a full-time regular programme for three years duration. They also offer a two-year LL.M Special Course specialising in Human Rights & Duties Education, allocated with 15 seats. Applicants must appear for the CUET PG examination to be eligible to enrol for BHU LL.M (Master of Laws) and LL.M Special course.

BHU LL.M Eligibility Criteria

The table below provides the BHU LL.M eligibility criteria for admission.

BHU LL.M Admission 

BHU LL.M admission is based on the merit of the enrolling candidates. Applicants must appear for the CUET PG examination and hold an undergraduate (UG) degree under 10+2+3 or a 5-year LL.B degree under the 10+2+5 pattern with at least 50% aggregate. Bar Council Association must accept the 5-year course.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates must apply for LL.M online. The online application procedure is elaborated below. Application fee payments via mobile may be rejected for security reasons; hence ideal to use a laptop.

• Visit the official BHU admission page
• Register by entering the required information like email ID, number, and address.
• Applicants must have their CUET application number and registration number.
• On the student dashboard, select the option “My Application”.
• Fill out the application form, and upload documents and educational details.
• Upload scan copy of your signature and photo.
• Preview and submit the form.
• Pay the application fee online via credit card/credit card/ net banking/ UPI from your laptop.

BHU Entrance Exams

Applicants must appear for the CUET PG exam and secure a relevant rank to become eligible to participate in the BHU admission process.

Applicants must submit the below-mentioned documents along with the BHU application form. Submit all documents in pdf or jpeg format.

• Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent certificate (for proof or age)
• Class 12 Marksheet or Qualifying Exam Marksheet
• Undergraduate certificate

• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
• Income Certificate

• PwD Certificate, if applicable.
