To help students achieve their academic and career goals, the university offers a wide range of scholarships that support merit, financial need, sports achievements, and special categories. These scholarships ensure that deserving students—including those with financial or physical challenges—get equal opportunities to excel.

At Alliance University, we believe every student can succeed. Our scholarship programmes reflect this belief and offer financial support across undergraduate, postgraduate, executive and doctoral programmes.

Types of Scholarships at Alliance University

Alliance University offers scholarships under the following major categories:

• Merit-Based Scholarships

• Category-Based Scholarships

• Alumni Scholarships

• Employee Scholarships

• Sports Scholarships

• Special Merit Scholarships

Students can apply for only one category of scholarship for the entire duration of the programme.

1. Merit-Based Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to students who show exceptional academic performance, talent or achievements. Merit scholarships motivate students to aim higher and reward their dedication.

CUET Scholarships (All UG Programmes)

Merit Scholarships Based on Class X & XII Marks (UG Programmes)

AUSAT-Based Scholarships (UG Programmes)

For BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.A. LL.B (Hons), BBA LL.B (Hons), B.Tech

For Liberal Arts, B.Des, B.A (Hons), B.Sc (Hons)

AUSAT Freeships (All UG Programmes)

One-time financial support awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.

2. Programme-Specific Scholarships

Alliance University offers additional scholarships for law, design, engineering, management, commerce and liberal arts programmes based on national-level entrance exam scores such as CLAT, LSAT, JEE, SAT, UCEED, NIFT, NID, IPMAT and more.

(For example:

• CLAT 100 score → 50% scholarship

• JEE Main >95 percentile → 50% scholarship

• UCEED 200+ score → 35% scholarship, etc.)

3. Merit Scholarships for PG Programmes

MBA Scholarships (CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT)

LL.M Scholarships (CLAT Score)

4. Category-Based Scholarships

Scholarships for SC/ST, Differently Abled, Defence Personnel, National & International Level Players, and Karnataka Domicile students.

UG Category Scholarships

PG category scholarships follow similar criteria with slight variations.

5. Special Merit Scholarships

Special waivers offered for:

• Master of Performing Arts

• Liberal Arts, Psychology, Film & TV, Applied Sciences

• MA English (Creative Writing)

• Master of Public Policy

• LL.M & LL.B

(Example: 90% & above → 50% waiver)

6. Alumni Scholarships

Alliance University appreciates its alumni community.

For Alumni

• 15% waiver on tuition fees for all programmes.

For Spouse, Children, Siblings of Alumni

• 15% waiver (subject to minimum academic performance).

7. Sports Scholarships (SEA – Sports Excellence Admissions)

Scholarships for students with sports achievements at:

• International Level (100% waiver)

• National Level (50%–80% waiver)

• State Level (up to 80% waiver)

Two sports quota seats per UG programme are available each year.

Differently abled athletes receive free accommodation and food along with fee waivers.

Scholarship Eligibility Rules & Renewal Conditions

• Students must maintain minimum 5.0 GPA (or 6.5 CGPA for Vidya Spandana) with no backlogs.

• Scholarships are non-transferable and apply from year one only.

• Only one scholarship can be availed throughout the programme.

• Applicants must not have any disciplinary record.

• Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.

• Candidates can apply only in the first semester.

How to Apply for Alliance University Scholarships

1. Complete the Alliance University admission process and secure admission.

2. Download the scholarship application form from the official website.

3. Submit the filled application with all supporting documents to the Office of the Registrar within the deadline.

4. Appear for a personal interview, if required.

5. Final scholarship results are announced after the start of academic sessions.
