About Akshaya Institute of Technology, [AIT] Tumkur:
Akshaya Institute of Technology was established by Akshaya Education Trust in 2003. The trust has founded the institute in order to impart value-based education to the rural pupils. AIT is one of the rural college providing 11 courses of Engineering to the rural pupils to get the technical knowledge. The purpose of the college's aim is to bestow high academic brilliance to produce top class engineers. The Institute has good faculty members along with infrastructure facilities to provide quality education to the students. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University [VTU]and Department of Technical Education [DTE], Government of Karnataka.
