New NITs in India have been established by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development creating new vacancies for around 10000+ students. These new NITs offers various courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and doctoral degrees for candidates who want to pursue their education in the technical field. Out of the 31 NITs, we have 11 new NITs all over India.

1. National Institute of Technology Delhi

NIT Delhi is a self-governed institute that was founded in 2010. NIT Delhi has received a NIRF 2022 engineering ranking of 194. NIT Delhi offers three basic degrees: B.Tech, MTech, and Ph.D. Exams at the national level are used to determine admission to all programmes, followed by counselling. The B.Tech programme at NIT Delhi offers six specializations. Graduates from NIT Delhi typically earn INR 9.8 LPA. 

Over 40 prestigious organizations from the domestic and worldwide markets visit the school for recruitment objectives. Most open positions include associate engineering, automotive, technology consulting, analytics, research & development, and data scientists. 2. National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh

NIT Arunachal Pradesh is an Institute of national importance and is one of the most popular engineering schools in the nation for various programmes. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) was established in Arunachal Pradesh in August 2010 and is approved by AICTE, i.e., All India Council for Technical Education.

3. National Institute of Technology Sikkim

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim is an autonomous college founded in 2010. NIT Sikkim is recognized and approved by UGC and AICTE. The institute offers an undergraduate engineering curriculum (B.Tech) in several streams and postgraduate programmes (MTech, MSc, and Ph.D.).

The active placement cell of NIT Sikkim arranges placement drives every year. The placement rate for the participating batch was 80.84% in 2022. The NIT Sikkim Summer Internship Placements 2022 class received internship offers for 100% of the participants. 4. National Institute of Technology Nagaland

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagaland, is one of the 31 NITs in India that provide technical education to students and has excellent train and aviation connections to the rest of the country. The B.Tech programme, offered in six specializations, is the flagship program of the college.

NIT Nagaland offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programmes in engineering and science. The average compensation package for NIT Dimapur graduates is INR 4.5 LPA, while the maximum salary package is INR 13 LPA.

5. National Institute of Technology Mizoram

NIT Mizoram is an autonomous institution founded in 2010. According to IIRF 2022, NIT Mizoram is 85th in the B.Tech category. NIT Mizoram offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees. The courses in the institute are affiliated with AICTE.

A dedicated and active placement cell at NIT Mizoram works to provide students with job opportunities regularly. Thirty people were placed during the NIT Mizoram Placements 2021 out of the 97 applicants. The assured median salary was 6.80 LPA or INR. Leading companies, including TVS Motors, IBM, TCS, and Wipro, participated in the placement drive.

6. National Institute of Technology Goa

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa is an autonomous institute founded in 2010. It is governed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of the Indian government.

The institute has been designated as an "Institute of National Importance"  and is the best among the 11 new NITs. NIT Goa offers engineering degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

7. National Institute of Technology Pondicherry

The National Institute of Puducherry (NITPY) was founded by the Indian government in 2009. One of the 10 new NITs is the NIT Puducherry. It is also one of the 31 NITs that the Indian government has designated as Institutes of National Importance. Engineering, Technology, Science, Humanities, and Social Science studies are available at NIT Puducherry at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.  

The highest and average salaries were INR 42 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively, in 2022. In addition, NIT Puducherry's placement rate for B.Tech placements in 2022 was 76.8%. Prior years' top employers at NIT Puducherry have included household names like IBM, Ford, and Infosys.

8. National Institute of Technology Meghalaya

NIT Meghalaya was founded in 2010 as an Institute of National Importance in Shillong. According to the NIRF Ranking 2022, NIT Meghalaya is rated 60th among the finest engineering schools in India. B.Tech is offered by NIT Meghalaya as its flagship program. 

The NIT Meghalaya placement process is also effective. For the year 2022, NIT Meghalaya successfully achieved 90% placements. The highest and most common packages remained at 52 LPA and 13 LPA, respectively. Microsoft, Cognizant, Deloitte, TCS, and other leading employers will participate in NIT Meghalaya Placements 2022.
