In 2021, CBSE cancelled the board exams of class 10 because of the COVID-19 situation. However, the candidates were assessed based on their previous years’ marks and internal evaluations. Above 2 lakh students secured more than 90% marks. Further, above 95% marks were received by around 57,824 candidates. The overall passing percentage for that year was 99.04%.
