Application Process

  1. Candidates who are interested to apply in College Website of Chaudhary Charan Singh University in any available courses can get the application form from Allahabad Bank, Meerut University Branch, and Ch. Charan Singh University Campus on cash payment.
  2. Candidates can also get the application form from the post services if they request the university to send.

  3. The candidates who appeared for entrance test on any courses except (M.Ed) can apply even before the qualifying result is not declared, but the candidates should prove the minimum eligibility is fulfilled.
  4. If the candidates are applying for more than one course, then he/she have to prepare a separate application form for each course.

  5. Photocopy of application form is not accepted by the University.
  6. Attested photocopy of the necessary documentation must be attached with application form.

  7. The application form should be dispatch to the Dean, Student Welfare or Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut 250004 through the registered post office within the last date of admission.

  8. If the application form is received after the last date or incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.

Admission process

  • Getting Admission in any courses provided by the Chaudhary Charan Singh university/ Meerut University is based on the admission test conducted by the university at the time of admission process.
  • The medium of the entrance test is English except for languages. 

  • Revaluation option is not there for the entrance exam.
  • If the candidates passed the qualifying exam from the College/University other then the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, then they have to take a certificate of conduct from the respective Principal, Gazetted officer or MLA.

  • The attested document is accepted only when the attestation is done by Principal of intermediate/+2, Degree/Postgraduate College, Head of the department of University, Gazetted office.

Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB

  • The candidates from any stream (Commerce, Art, Science) with 45% marks in intermediates examination can apply for the particular course.
  • For this particular course, the seat provided by the Chaudhary Charan Singh, Meerut University is limited to 80 seats.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

B.Com (Honors):

  • The student must be having at least 60% in intermediate/+2 in any discipline to apply for the given courses in Chaudhary Charan Singh, Meerut University.

  • The total number of seats for the student to get admission in particular courses is limited to 60. 

Eligibility Criteria for LLM

  • Any candidates who are interested to get admission in particular course require a minimum of 50% marks in BA LLB or LLB  Bachelor's Degree.

Candidates must have 55% marks in Bachelor's Degree and second division in the intermediate examination or should have 50% marks in each of Bachelor's degree and Intermediate examination. The student having BA/B.Sc needs mathematics in intermediate and student with BBA/B.Com and BCA are also eligible.
MA Sociology
Candidates must have 55% marks in Bachelor's Degree and second division in the intermediate examination or should have 50% marks in each of Bachelor's degree and Intermediate examination.
MA Political Science
MA Mathematics

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

  • The candidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's or Equivalent Degree and must be having a Mathematics as a compulsory subject in intermediate/+2.
  • If the candidates are having BCA in Bachelor's degree, the compulsory requirement of Mathematics in +2 is not required.

  • The particular course is having a limited seat of 60 for the student to get admission in the University. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil

M.Phil (Economics):

  • Master degree in concern subject must be at least 55% marks.
  • Students with BBA/ B.Com/ BCA Degree can also apply for the given course.

  • The student must be having at least 55% in the second Bachelor's Degree and should be second division in intermediates/+2 or he/she should have at least 50% marks in Bachelor Degree and Intermediate Examination.
  • Only 10 seats are available for the students to get admission in particular course.

M.Phil (Horticulture):

  • The candidates must have at least 55% marks in his/her second class Master's Degree in Horticulture to get admission in Chaudhary Charan Singh University / Meerut University, [CCSUMU] Meerut.

  • The candidates should have four years Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with at least 55% marks and one must be in the second division of intermediate examination.
  • The student can also apply for the given courses if he/she is having 50% marks in each of intermediate examination and Bachelor's Degree.  

M.Phil (Sociology):

  • The candidate must have minimum marks of 55% in their respective Master Degree.
  • The candidates must have at least 55% marks in their Bachelor Degree and need to be the second division in an Intermediates/+2 examination.

  • Candidates can also apply for the given courses with having at least 50% marks in each of Bachelor Degree and intermediate examination. 

  • There are limited of 10 seats for the candidates to apply in particular courses. 

M.Phil Political Science:

  • Candidates must have 55% marks in their second class of Master's Degree in the respective class.
  • Any candidates who are having 55% marks in their second-class Bachelor's Degree and having a second division in the intermediate examination are eligible to apply for the given course.

  • The candidates can also apply if they are having 50% in each of Bachelor degree and intermediate examination.

M.Phil (Mathematics):

  • The candidates are eligible to apply for the course when he/she is having 55% marks in the second class of Master's Degree in respective subject.
  • The candidates also need 50% marks in each of Bachelor's Degree and Intermediate examination.

Candidates must have at least 50% in their Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, and B.Sc Degree with chemistry, Botany, Zoology.
M.Sc Ag (Plant Pathology)
M.Sc Ag (Food Science & Technology)
Candidates must have at least 50% in their Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Biology Group and Food Science.
M.Sc Polymer Science & Chemical Technology
Candidates must have at least 50% in their Bachelor's Degree in PCM, CBZ, Polymer Science, BE, and B. Tech.
M.Sc Biochemistry
Candidates must have at least 50% in their Bachelor's Degree in PCM, CBZ, MLT, and student from ST/SC category are having 5% marks relaxation.
M.Sc Mathematics
Candidates must have second class in Bachelor degree in the main course with 55% marks and second division in the intermediate/+2.
M.Sc Toxicology
The candidates having B.Sc Degree in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry Microbiology, Biotechnology, B.Pharma, and also MBBS can apply for the course.

Eligibility Criteria for MSW

  • Any candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream can apply for the given course.
  • The seats are limited to 20 for the student to get admission in the course.

  • The students can get admission through management quota also.
  • The cut-off is 15-25 rank in UPSEE exam.'

As according to eligibility criteria obviously the student must be 12th pass and score 60% and above to get admission. There is no entrance exam. Only cut off based. For my M.A Hindi, a student must pass in exams only.
