I did my internship at places like Future East Films and Harper's Bazaar India. Besides, companies like Deloitte, Ogilvy, Glitch, and more hire from SCMC constantly. 

There are 3 Symbiosis girl's hostels and 1 boys hostel. Hostel fees is around 1.5 LPA.

Ample PGs and eating options are available at different rates across Viman Nagar that can work out cheaper/more expensive too. 

Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication is a 3-year professional program. The first year is a foundation course with common subjects for all students. In the second year, the batch is divided into mass communication and marketing communication sections. Mass communication is introduced to journalism and audiovisual production curriculum whereas marketing communication is introduced to public relations and advertising curriculum. In the third year, the batch is further divided into 4 specialisations - Ad, AV, Journalism and PR. 

The mass communication course is filled with practical lessons. Assessments are online and a continuous evaluation pattern is followed. Most faculty is well versed, but they need sensitivity training. The 4 internships that the college offers are the best part of the course. 2 NGO and 2 industry - where the college's internship cell secures a spot with NGOs/industry-leading places for its students to gain real industry insight.

Experienced faculties and guest lecturers contribute to the course very well. Frequent organization of student activities make the college a nice experience. 

Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication [SIMC] Pune Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 3 Lakh per annum.

The student council has specialisations clubs like Ad club, AV club, PR club, and so on, as well as a theatre club, poetry club, literature & debate club, dance club, etc.
