Placements and Internships

5

No, the college does not provide internships, but it helps in getting an internship in various industries as the faculties have contact with various food industries. The internship can or can not be a stipend. It varies from industry to industry. The internship at the research lab is not paid and it can be taken directly by applying there.

The placement is currently going on a few companies that have come along the way but they were majorly related to the IT sector. A company from the food sector came which was phy to biotech and it offered training for three to six months and then will decide that if they would like to hire us or not. The package for training was 10,000 per month and the salary will be decided after training.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

The college infrastructure is at its best providing all possible facilities and equipment which are useful and are concerning the course. The teaching staff and non-teaching staff are friendly, professional, and understanding. The facilities within the college campus are good as you can use all of the buildings' facilities. Wifi is good, labs are good all resources and tools are available for our subject. The library is good. Everything is nice.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The admission process is simple, the score should be good in the 12th standard and we have to give an entrance exam which is AIBFEE along with group discussion or personal interview. The interview procedure is quite strict, they look in-depth of score gain in 12th standard and what project we are a concern and formed and what are our plans and in group discussion they discussed about general knowledge.

Academics and Faculty

5

The exams in each sem take place twice once the internal assessment and then final exams for each semester. The internal assessment is done by including internal exams, presentations, group discussions, viva, and assignments. The exam structure is not at all hectic and goes easily with the routine. We generally have exams back to back which helps in finishing them at a faster rate as expected.

BFIT Group of Institutions, Dehradun Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 49,500 per year.

The scholarship is also provided in our college, for localites, school scholars, sports students, and many other scholarships are there.

Clubs and Associations

5

Our college has scheduled fixed two host events every year. We have cultural events like Rangrezza and TechnoJashan conducted each year during late winter. We have many sports events as well. Along with that, there are other events as well. While students and teachers organize the event and in some events, students are given money as an award as well.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Students who have passed 10+2 or senior secondary examinations with at least 45%(40% SC/ST ) can join BSc in the food technology course. But we need to apply online on the college website and later we need to give the entrance exam and interview taken by college faculty members. They ask us about the subject and assess the practical knowledge we have on the subject and our future thoughts and how confident we are for the college and our career.
