Placements in my college are very good. BFIT is one of the best law colleges. There is internship cell which provides summer internships to every student. Renowned companies came to college to hire interns. Moreover, there is also a placement cell which provides job opportunities.
The college infrastructure is excellent. I stayed in a hostel. The hostel is also very neat and clean. The food is also good. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The only disadvantage is that only sports meets are conducted in the college.
Students who have passed 10+2 or senior secondary examinations with at least 45%(40% SC/ST ) can join BSc in the food technology course. But we need to apply online on the college website and later we need to give the entrance exam and interview taken by college faculty members.
They ask us about the subject and assess the practical knowledge we have on the subject and our future thoughts and how confident we are for the college and our career.
Faculty of the college is highly qualified and educated. They know how to explain the concepts in an easy way. College is very strict about the rules and regulations. One disadvantage is that they would not let you sit in exams if you have attendance below 75%.
Fees are feasible and courses are well formed under guidelines formed by the affiliated central university which is Garhwal University. Many students get scholarships but certain cutoff is set and we need to give different exams for it to apply.
Crowd is very good. Sports meets and other competitions of poster making, rangoli making debate competitions are well organised and major event which is celebrated is the rangrezza and techno jashan. Techno Jashan is an amazing event, every senior speaks of it and they say that the campus and unity that BFIT has.

Placements & Internships : No, the college does not provide internships, but it helps in getting an internship in various industries as the faculties have contact with various food industries. The internship can or can not be a stipend. It varies from industry to industry. The internship at the research lab is not paid and it can be taken directly by applying there. The placement is currently going on a few companies that have come along the way but they were majorly related to the IT sector. A company from the food sector came which was phy to biotech and it offered training for three to six months and then will decide that if they would like to hire us or not. The package for training was 10,000 per month and the salary will be decided after training.
