During my Course in Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee I Have noticed that up to 80% of students are selected through campus Selection drives which are run by training & placement cells of the Roorkee College of Engineering, where they facilitate the process of placement of students passing out from the College through collaborating with leading organizations like HCL, Genpact, Samsung, Rockman, IBM, Wipro, Reliance, Atlas, Imperial Auto, Birla Tyres, etc and they also set up an internship and training program of students. The training & Placement also trained students for pre-placement activities like personality Development Programs, Group discussions, Aptitude Tests, Skills Development sessions, Resume writing, Mock interview sessions & Industria visits, etc.
Infrastructure and interiors are very good. I still recall the days of the Roorkee College of Engineering. Roorkee is well equipped with High-Speed Internet Connectivity. so that the students can surf the Web, enhance their knowledge, and use the e-information. The whole campus is well connected through wired as well as wireless networks. Students can access the internet with 100 MBPS connectivity with secure transmission of their data/information over cyberspace. To provide security over cyberspace and better management of Internet services for our students we introduced the services of “SMART GUARD” a bandwidth manager and firewall system. The Wi-Fi is not only restricted to classrooms but also extends to all the areas including the library, cafeteria, and hostels.
The Faculty here is Dedicated and very helpful and also helps in every field, Empanelled competent and respected academician faculty involved in academic research & development leads to significant output. The faculty members and academicians here believe in principles of maintaining trust, responsibility, and integrity. There is a lush and green environment and a peaceful atmosphere is there which is also very helpful in our studies through my course. I still have deep memories of my college life which are still missing in my professional life and proud to be the RCEIIAN. I still miss our teachers, Lab assistants, Librarian sir as well as chairman sir.
