Placements and Internships
Since I am a student of 2nd year, I haven't experienced internships. But according to the placement coordinators of our college, students will be taken if they are really eligible.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 3 hostels for girls and 2 hostels for boys. The hostel fees will come around 30k per annum. I have no idea about PGs. The hostel food will he occasionally good and differs sometimes. The mess fees will come around 2k per month. The quality of classes are comparatively better and library is good. Wifi connections gets oscillates.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria for taking up this course is a minimum of 85% in HSC examination to get the entrance exam application. The entrance exam must be written and students will be filtered from it and will be taken to the next level, interview. After the interview, the students will be taken for this course. This was the procedure in our college. There is no typical cutoff to join the course directly.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine of my college is, it'll start around 8.30 am and end around 4.15 pm. My course had many computer lab sessions to train to the max. The method of teaching of some teachers is extraordinary. The overall experience in my college according to me is 8.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee for our course is a minimum of 60k per sem excluding exam fees. It'll come up to 20k. Loan is necessarily needed for students from poor background and strong knowledge.
Clubs and Associations
My college has around 22 clubs and they are doing a great job. Festives for all religions gets celebrated equally here. My department has neither any culturals nor any symposiums. Other departments celebrate it well. My college life is good with my friends.
