- The average salary offered was 7.8 Lacks Per Annum with highest being 22Lacks Per Annum.
- Around 70 plus companies came for placement with reputed core companies such as EATON, Hero Moto Corp, Indian Smart Grid Forum, Emulex, Tejas Networks, Nagarjuna Group, NFTDC, CA Technologie were the first time recruiters, also companies like Microsoft, dell etc hire regularly from the campus.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The college shifted to its new campus in 2015 and the new campus is great with modern classrooms with all the latest technology, the labs have all the updated equipment but some construction work is still left on the campus.
Academics and Faculty
- IIT Hyderabad despite being new provides its students with the best faculty in India.
- There are renowned profs like Prof. K.V.L. Subramaniam, Dr Sumohana Channappayya and Dr K. Siva Kumar which call this campus their home.
- The class timings are generally from 8 am to 5 pm.
Fees and Scholarships
- The total course fee for BTech is around 4 lakhs and a lakh for living expenses.
- within 5 lakhs you get a degree from IIT what else can you expect.
- There are also scholarships available for financially weak students.

Placements & Internships : PLACEMENTS ARE VERY LESS FOR MASTERS STUDENTS. NUMBER OF STUDENTS WHO GETS PLACED INTO CORE INDUSTRIES ARE VERY LESS. BUT, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT IT IS A NEW IIT (STARTED ONLY IN 2007), NUMBERS ARE NOT AT ALL BAD. INFACT IIT HYDERABAD HAS THE BEST FIGURES AMONG THE NEW IIT'S IN INDIA.
Academics & Faculty : Lectures start from 8:30 am and end at 5 pm. After which you are free to pursue your interests.At IIT Hyderabad, ratio of students to permanent faculty is pretty good. There are many international guest lecturers too. Faculty-to-Student ratio is better for Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering as compared to Computer Science Engineering. All the faculties are well experienced and have their PhDs from institutes of international reputation. They are constantly updating their knowledge by doing research work.
Academics & Faculty : Class Schedule is poor, as it is extended up to 7 pm at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Teaching methodology has to improve.All other are Average some are very good as compare to old IITs.
