Placements and Internships
- Don't expect to get any internship opportunity inside the college. You have to search it outside and college doesn't entertain leaves for an internship so do ask faculty before joining anywhere.
- College placement is very nice. Every year a bunch of IT company comes and hires most of the student mostly mass recruits capture the highest number of students.
- Average CTC is somewhere 5 LPA per year. Yes if you are good enough with your skills than bagging a 5 LPA job is not tough in this college.
- Even if you left unplaced college will try to put you in some company to increase their stats. That can be a 1.2 LPA job to a 9 LPA job.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- There are two competitive exams through which you can take admission into this college which are KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Examination) and COMEDK. Eligibility criteria are very simple that you need to have more than 45% in PCM.
- I took COMEDK and it was quite easy that year.
- For my course, it's almost around 6,000-7,000 rank every year.
Academics and Faculty
- College life is quite okay. Classes start from 9 o clock and end by 5 o clock but on a few days it's half day and some event and many things are going on in college. So keep it till 3 PM.
- Examination pattern changed two times in two years so I dont know what it's going to be next year but right now there are three internal and one-semester end examinations. There are some extra things like assignment and alternate assessment tool which includes Report, project and some quizzes can also fetch you marks.
- You need an average of 20 out of 50 if you want to appear for semester ends and to qualify semester end you need 40 out of 100.
- Attendance is another issue here with 85% attendance criteria you have to be smart that how to convince teachers and teachers are easy to convince but sometimes they can be a headache and even sometimes they won't listen to you if you have genuine reasons.
- Teaching differs from teacher to teacher some of them are very nice and some of them are very bad in their work.
- The overall experience is nice as friends in college balance the headache you get in college but some of the teachers are nice and will listen to you every time whenever you need their help.
Fees and Scholarships
- College fees are normal and subpar with other colleges. It's managed by COMEDK and Karnataka government.
- Fees for every course is the same 1.7L and there are some miscellaneous fees which are somewhere around 25-30K.
- Scholarships are available but only for Karnataka students or simply saying who came from KCET.
- Availing education loan is easy as the college has various accreditations and that is enough to avail loan as much as I know.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : My course is Medical Electronics, one can get to this course by writing CET(COMMON ENTRANCE TEST) or COMED-K, To get this course one must have to clear 10+2 or equivalent, during the year 2017 the cutoff was 20k. So if u get within 15k you are likely to get this course.
