Placements and Internships
The internships are done by students. And yeah, I do stipend. The key companies are Amazon, banking sectors, Infosys etc. Salary is based on their skill, it is INR 10000-12000 for the fresher.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The hostel has 2 building for degree students from the various stream. Mess bill is around INR 3000 per month. PGs are not good comparing college hostel better to stay in the hostel. Food quality is amazing. The cost is INR 90 for one day. Quality of classrooms good. labs are very clean, overall infrastructure is nice.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Well, the eligibility for this is 10+2 pass to get admission here. There is no entrance examination.
Academics and Faculty
Well, the daily routine is good enough. The class having Monday to Saturday timings 9:00 am to 4:00 pm between you will get one hour for lunch break 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Projects and assignments are essentially given during the semester. Quality of teaching is still old method. The overall experience of mine good enough.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee for Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] at Alva's College is INR 1,00,000. Scholarship options are available according to their caste. No loans needed.
Clubs and Associations
The student's societies clubs and associations on campus are good enough. Every team has its own festivals in every semester. The life in this college is nice.
