The eligibility criteria for my course was 65% and above in PUC. The entrance examination through which one can get the admissions are KCET and COMEDK. The cutoff for my course was 70%

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

The eligibility criteria are very minimum which is 50% in PCM subjects in 12th standard.
You can get into CEC Mangalore through KCET entrance examination, Konkani quota and CANARA quota (lateral entry from Canara PU College).

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

The course fee is around Rs 70000/- INR including tuition and other fees.
Hostel and mess fees will come around Rs 70000/- INR at CEC.
Scholarship options are available based on specific castes and religions and not for meritorious candidates.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

No internship opportunities are given by the college.
Regarding Placements, only CS/IS/EC students get good companies.
Placement in negligible for MECH.
Hardly 2-3 companies come for MECH, No core only IT companies come at CEC.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:

In this college there is Students council associations, they conduct elections for the post of presidents and cultural secretary. But its of no use No authorities will listen to presidents .They will make thier own decesions. Just for the name sake they are conducting the elections.

We celebrated many festivals in the college like ONAM, HOLI, AYUDDHAA POOJA. But HOLY was celebrated after the college hours. As i said before in Cec i had attended many college fests, technical fests and also they allow us to go to other colleges to participate in the events and show our talent .

overall experience in this college was awesome.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION:

Infrastructure of this college is not that good, though the college campus is extented to 23 acres campus. Outdoor its good , neatly maintained. but one you enter inside the college . you will find cold dinking water station with no water, Inside the washroom Taps with...

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

We have to write a cet exam to join our Canara engineering college and get pass marks in PCM subjects in PUC. had around 40,000 for our course.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

We have very good placements in our college. I have not attended any internship but in the coming days surely I\'m going to take part in it as I\'m in the second year. but I have attended many workshops. many good companies visit our college. salary package will be starting from 3.5 LPA
