IIMC has good placement opportunities. Almost 90% are placed in the college placements. High profile companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Franklin Templeton, L&T visit college with placement opportunities for students. The maximum salary would be around INR 3 lakh p.a. with a basic salary of at least INR 16000 per month. The alumni association is not so well versed. But it is taking steps to connect the alumni with the students.
They do not have hostels. The commerce labs are well equipped. Library is one of the best's here in OU affiliated colleges.
I'm from B.Com Hons. Only this course has an entrance test conducted by Dept. of Commerce, OU and every other courses admission are based on your merit marks obtained in intermediate education. So B.Com Hons. candidates have to appear for the test which is for 100 marks where 60+ will ensure your seat easily otherwise you have to depend on your quotas respectively.
It runs until 1-2. It is very disciplined and punctual. Pre-finals are conducted for assessing yourself prior to final examinations. The overall experience is good.
Around 120 people are selected for every different course. The fee is around INR 30,000 per year. College provides economic assistance to the backward economic people, at least for 10 people. The loans are not needed, because the fee is not huge.
Almost every festival is celebrated. Events like Dandia nights, Deepotsavam, Bathukamma, Eid and such festivals are celebrated with joy.
