Placements and Internships
The internship was at Reliance Industries Limited at around 1 lakh. Many companies like RIL, Indiamart, ICICI Bank, etc. do visit. More details can be accessed in placement report at college website iimkashipur.ac.in Average salary- Rs. 12 LPA (approx.) Highest salary- around Rs. 50 LPA Almost 100% batch gets placed. Alumni network is in growing stage as the college is new compared to older IIMs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 20 buildings at present each accommodating 24 students. Hostel fee is included in total fees of Rs. 12 lakhs. The availing hostel is mandatory as it is the residential program. There are various classrooms, labs, libraries and Bloomberg terminals as well. Wi-fi is enabled in all classrooms, labs, library, and hostels. Infrastructure includes almost all sports like TT, Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket, etc. And three good quality canteens.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility is graduation and admission procedure is based on entrance examination CAT, marks weightage of 10th, 12th, graduation, work experience, Written aptitude test and interview. CAT cut-off varies year on year and based on the student's category (General, OBC, ST, SC, or PH) for general, it is around 95 percentile. And percentile of students varies from 95-99.7 percentile.
Academics and Faculty
Class time varies from 8 am - 6 pm depending on the year. There will be lot many assignments, quizzes, one project per subject. Teaching is quite good as many professors are from better MBA colleges like IIMs and some really good private colleges for MBA. Overall, a very rich experience in academics.
Fees and Scholarships
The annual tuition fee for MBA program is INR 3,07,000 per annum. There are some scholarships from central government, state governments, and category wise as well. The average number who gets the scholarship should be around 15. Yes, the loan can be easily availed at many banks like SBI, PNB, etc.
Clubs and Associations
I would suggest, you visit IIM Kashipur's website for this section as there are many student clubs and activities like Marketing, HR, Operations, IT clubs and many other interests based clubs like photography, foreign language, quiz, etc. There are various committees which deal with the administration. TEDx, Coalescence, Uttishtha, Agnitraya are few big events of the college. Life is fun, hectic and lot of learning.

Fees & Scholarships : The tuition fee for the 2014-'16 batch was Rs 8,00,00/- for 2 years combined together. Additional refundable and non-refundable fee amounted to Rs 29,500/- for 2 years. Refundable caution deposits were approximately Rs 6,500/-. Several scholarship options available to students. IIM Kashiput offers scholarship to 10% of its students based on the family income. This scholarship is applicable to all categories of students. Students with less than 3,00,000/- annual family income in the last financial year are eligible for the above scholarship. Academics & Faculty : We have our classes from 8:00 AM in morning till 7:00PM in evening. The course pedagogy follwed in IIM kashipur is Case Based. Each course is designed to a one industry project, 3-4 quizzes(may be surprise quiz) and lot of assignments. We have very good choice of electives available to us and also we can suggest electives to be floated. We have very good faculties having rich experience in indusrty as well as other good B-schools

Academics & Faculty : Faculty and academics were really good at Indian Institute of Management. We used to have visiting faculties from other IIMs and foreign B-Schools as well to teach us specialized courses. Our core faculty also had a rich industry as well as academic experience with a rich research background. Overall the experience was great in terms of learning.
