Placements & Internships : IIM Kashipur has been consistently doing good in terms of placements. Year on year the institute has witnessed a growth in highest and average packages offered to the students. Students have received international offers with the profiles of student's interest. Summer Internship: IT/Services, Manufacturing/Engineering and Consulting are the major sectors from which the students were offered profiles in summer internship. Major profiles offered were from Sales & Marketing, Operations & Finance. Students were offered roles from esteemed organizations like - ICICI Bank, Hero Motocorp, Volvo Eicher, Daikin, L&T, DuPont, Tata Steel, Uttam Galva Steel, KPMG, JSPL, Emerson, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, J. WALTER THOMPSON etc. 100% of the PGP2014-16 batch got summer internship with top 25%ile getting a package of Rs. 83,000/- & top 50%ile getting a package of Rs. 60,500/- http://www.iimkashipur.ac.in/index.php/hi/news-and-events/440-summer-placement-report-2014-15 Final Placements: The batch of PGP2013-15 had an unprecedent growth of 300% in its batch size when compared to previous batch despite this the placement season saw a good number of students getting offers in their desired profiles with a decent package. As per the interim placement report as on April 9, 2015 following is the information: FMCG/Consumer Goods, Services, IT/ITES, Manufacturing & BFSI were the major sectors to recruit from our institute. Sales & Marketing, General Management, Consulting & Finance were the major domains in terms of profiles offered. Some of the major companies recruiting from our institute are: Maruti Suzuki, Volvo Eicher, Idea, Tata Steel, GAIL, Eveready, GSK Pharmaceuticals, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, RBL Bank, Accenture, L&T, E&Y, Wipro, Hero MotoCorp., RPG Group, Housing.com among others. 7 students received international offers with the Highest International Offer being Rs. 43,00,000/- converted to INR. Average package for the season is: Rs. 10.9 Lakhs p.a. Academics & Faculty : Our regular course work comprises of 20 sessions of each subject. We have one of the best faculty who have prior teaching experience in IIM-A,B,C,L or are doctorates from these institutes. Their regular session comprises of case based study comprising of the cases from Harvard Business Review or MIT. The faculty also ropes in their industry counterparts for taking couple of sessions so that students get to know about the real scenario happening in the industry. Few subjects such as supply chain management, strategy management etc. which require hands on experience to the real world problems have simulation game based study. With a total 25 faculty members the faculty to student ratio is 1:9 excluding the visiting/mentor faculty. We have guest lectures organized by our corporate relations cell where in industrialist take a 2 hr. session explaining about their current industry scenario, problems faced and challenges in future. This will help the students adapt to the changes in the work environment. The professors are always reachable for any issues/doubt clarification a person in needs. It is highly commendable that even when students are during their internship the professors help them with any clarification students may need. Apart from the regular course work, we have had eminent speakers from organizations like Flipkart, Barclays Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, SBI Capital Securities, NSE, BSE, Emami etc. visiting our institute for specialization based symposiums. This helped the students understand the challenges faced across different sectors. NSE has partnered with IIM Kashipur to provide certification courses to students. As part of the specialisation, students will learn equity research, technical analysis, derivative market strategies, algo trading etc. We have the privilege of having Mr. Gautam Sinha as our director who also teaches couple of subjects from Operations Management specialization. He has received Best Teacher Award in Operations Management in Asia’s B-school Awards in 2011 at Singapore and Thought Leader Award in World Education Congress 2013 at Mumbai. Fees & Scholarships : The college fee for PGP2014-16 batch was approx. around Rs. 8.00 lacs in total. As part of the student welfare fund approx. 4-5 students have received scholarship. Few other students have also applied for other available scholarships from various organizations. Being a student from IIM Kashipur most of the banks provide education loans without any hassles. The induction team takes care of calling few major banks to the institute, and the complete application process gets completed within half-a-day. Post application of bank loan all the fee is taken care by the bank. Financial-aid isn't an issue at all for the aspirants of IIM Kashipur.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The institute boasts its state of art classrooms well furnished, with availability of 2 projectors, wi-fi, seating capacity of around 60 students, air-conditioned. Apart from the regular course related books, the students have provision of e-library with free access to e-books, databases, journals from across different nations. Access to major websites like Gartner, CRISIL, Indiastat. etc. is available to students. Even during students' internship period they can access all the resources of e-library giving them an edge over others. The students have access to bloomberg terminals helping them with all the financial analysis. Though the college campus and hostel building aren't integrated in current campus but students have fully furnished classrooms for the late night studies. The hostel rooms are available in double-occupancy and single occupancy rooms. Hostels are equipped with all the basic amenities like Geysers, Washing Machines, Water Purifiers, Rooms for indoor games & courts for outdoor games, & even Gymnasiums. All hostels are equipped with 100 Mbps Wi-Fi, and connected with DC . The institute management takes care of commutation from Hostel to Institute via college bus. The distance from institute to hostel is hardly 300-400 mts. away. The students can even take autos for transportation. The institute boasts its well equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of around 350-400 people. The auditorium is equipped with Film Projection System with latest JBL 5 1 surround audio (11,000 watts : 13 speakers) and Cyclorama Cinema Screen. NEW CAMPUS: The students are expected to move to the new campus from the academic year of 2015-16. The campus is ready with all the basic amenities. The students are allowed to own 2-wheelers, and even autos are available for commuting to the near by places. There are many good eateries and food joints available in Kashipur which provide 30% discount for IIM Students. The hotels have and understanding with the institute to provide discounts for the parents/friends of students visiting Kashipur. The institute is close to Nainital & Jim-Corbett park. Students do visit these places, and even the hilly areas of Himalayas during term-end breaks.

Clubs & Associations : The day begins at IIM Kashipur at 7:00 a.m. in the morning with most of the students waking up and directly rushing to the classrooms. On most of the days by the time they return to hostel is usually 5:00 in the evening. Soon after reaching they are involved in sports, case competitions, pre-readings of next day class, case study discussions, ending with late night clubs & committee meetings going on till 2:00 a.m. - 3:00 a.m. in the mid-night. On an average a student here gets around 4 hrs. of sleep. We have approximately 18 clubs, and 8 committees whose performance is reviewed periodically.
