Placements and Internships
- Summer placements were good and the average stipend of our batch was around Rs. 30k at Indian Institute of Management.
- Majorly students from Sales & Marketing domain got the highest salaries.
- Internships were offered by companies like NTPC Ltd., Ruchi Soya, KPMG, RPG Group, Reliance Insurance, VLCC, Sharaf DG, ICICI Bank etc.
- Placements were decent and the average salary of our batch was around Rs. 8-9 lakh pa.
- Majorly students from Sales & Marketing domain got the highest salaries.
- For final placements companies like BPCL, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, EY, Accenture, GAIL, RPG Group, Videocon, Aditya Birla Group, etc. visited the campus.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Indian Institute of Management infrastructure is well maintained with all facilities like the library has over the years built a collection of over 3500 books, current subscription to journals 48 print journals & magazines, 15newspapers, 1.86 lakhs e-books and many other resources like PGP student's summer training project reports and CIS dissertations.
- The academic block is internally connected through Wi-Fi as well as wired LAN. A dedicated 20 Mbps line provided by BSNL supports round the clock access to the resources on the Internet.
- The hostel is connected to the academic block through RF. The hostel also has 24×7 network access through Wi-Fi. Both the academic block and the hostel area use D-link DWL – 3200 secured Wi-Fi connectivity
Academics and Faculty
- Faculty and academics were really good at Indian Institute of Management.
- We used to have visiting faculties from other IIMs and foreign B-Schools as well to teach us specialized courses.
- Our core faculty also had a rich industry as well as academic experience with a rich research background.
- Overall the experience was great in terms of learning.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fees are normal and its around Rs. 8 to 8.5 lakh at Indian Institute of Management.
- The scholarships are provided to the students who are financially weak.
Clubs and Associations
- Excelsior- PAN IIM Cultural- sports- management fest are held in Indian Institute of Management.
- Agnitraya- Intercollege annual fest is some fest which was organized in the campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility is graduation and admission procedure is based on entrance examination CAT, marks weightage of 10th, 12th, graduation, work experience, Written aptitude test and interview. CAT cut-off varies year on year and based on the student's category (General, OBC, ST, SC, or PH) for general, it is around 95 percentile. And percentile of students varies from 95-99.7 percentile.

Fees & Scholarships : The tuition fee for the 2014-'16 batch was Rs 8,00,00/- for 2 years combined together. Additional refundable and non-refundable fee amounted to Rs 29,500/- for 2 years. Refundable caution deposits were approximately Rs 6,500/-. Several scholarship options available to students. IIM Kashiput offers scholarship to 10% of its students based on the family income. This scholarship is applicable to all categories of students. Students with less than 3,00,000/- annual family income in the last financial year are eligible for the above scholarship. The MHRD also offers another scholarship to eligible SC/ST students. Loans are easily available for education purpose at IIM Kashipur. State Bank of India has a branch just opposite to IIM Kashipur's current temporary campus. Academics & Faculty : We have our classes from 8:00 AM in morning till 7:00PM in evening. The course pedagogy follwed in IIM kashipur is Case Based. Each course is designed to a one industry project, 3-4 quizzes(may be surprise quiz) and lot of assignments. We have very good choice of electives available to us and also we can suggest electives to be floated. We have very good faculties having rich experience in indusrty as well as other good B-schools
