Sushobhan Sardar's Review on Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology

• As I am still praying my b.tech tradition course, hence I haven't done any internships or job by this time

There are 4 boys hostel and 3 girls hostels. But there are plenty of PGs available outdid the college cost of INR 5000 approximately per months. Food in college is cheaper in price and of low quality. Our college has free WiFi, classrooms, labs and dining halls are very good and multi-airconditiined as well.

The eligibility criteria for getting admission in B.Tech eligibility was 60% marks in science group and 55% in English language paper. Procedure was after giving JEE(in my case the board was WBJEE) exam candidate has to wait for their rank card and using that rank card they had to go through a counselling process.

Daily routines are very busy, but few days little break time we get. We do some group projects sometimes with the assistance of our processors. They also give us a bunch of assignment. Quality of teaching here is not so good. The overall college experience is 6 out of 10

My course fee is approximately INR 70000-80000 per anum. There are very few scholarships available, hence the number of scholars is lesser. If anyone needs scholarships then it is also available from many banks, but not everyone is eligible for that. Only a proper salaried person is eligible for this.

There are only 2 student societies in this college, I.e. Cultural and tech fest committee. Life in college, in general, is very good, we also the hvEswiming pool for nothing, tennis court, volleyball court.
