The faculty provided by the college for teaching the students are good but the classrooms had not well maintained and also the Laboratories are not well maintained all the Machines do not work properly that's why the students up to face some problems and the daily routine or the daily timing of the college is very lengthy it is from 10:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening in this long time period the students get bored and there is not any facility or there is not any good facilities for the sports music and any other outfield activities

I am from the general category and I did not get any kind of any scholarships for my studies I have to pay nearly 20000 per semester for my studies what the students of OBC and SC/ST got t scholarships from the government for the studies and the number of those students is nearly 55% in the college

The hostels classrooms and infrastructure of the college is not so good it is very dirty the water not came properly every time and it does not have any surety that the water coming is pure and in the hostel the food is supplied to the students very late because of this phenomenon the students got late for the classes

But the Indira Gandhi Engineering College has some campus problem for the placement it does not get many more campus what this problem will be short outed very soon.

I am 3rd-year student at Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar. The students who have passed 12th examinations from physics, chemistry and mathematics are eligible to give the entrance exam for admission in this college. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE MAIN) is the entrance exam for admission. The students who give this entrance exam are eligible for counselling and according to the rank in the exam, colleges are allotted. There are five branches in my college for b.tech, electrical, mechanical, civil, information technology and electronics & communications engineering. There are guest faculty in my college who are not much experienced but moderate. After allotment of the college, the student has to come to college before the date that was given in allotment letter and complete the admission process.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

Annual fees of our college is INR 23370
There are options available for scholorships.
Normally, loans are not needed but SBI OFFERS student loan plan every year at low interest.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

There are no placements in Indira Gandhi Engineering College,(IGEC).

Wipro selected 10 students last year that too in pool campus placements with IIITDM JABALPUR and offered an average salary package of INR 3.3 LPA.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION:

There are 2 hostels in IGEC campus, one is for girls and other one is for boys. Hostel fee is very minimal. Students can also get PG very easily.

There is no canteen but hostel food is good.
