Aaquib Jawed's Review on JIS College of Engineering

In the third year, of course, the internship will be provided by college according to the performance of Student. Many MNC's came for campusing and average salary offered by them is about 3-4 lacs.

There are 3 hostels provided by the college, two girls hostel and one gent's hostel. Hostel fee is 5500 p.m and the one-time registration fee is deposited at the time of admission. The food is good. A classroom can accommodate up to 60-70 students, there is a central library for students and wifi is also there. There is a large playground in the college, where one can play their games.

For JISCE eligibility criteria is to give WBJEE OR CEE-AMPAI Entrance Exam. To get admission one should have rank up to 30000 in WBJEE and up to 1000 in CEE-AMPAI.

Classes work from Monday to Friday. And working hour is 10:00 am to 5:40 pm. We are given projects time to time and exams held in the last month of each semester i.e for even sem May-June and for odd sem is November-December. The quality of teaching is up to the mark all the teachers, professors are good. The overall experience is good.

There is a nominal fee of this college of about 80000 p.a which is much lower than most of the private colleges across India. There is enough amount of students who are benefited by scholarship facility. Also, there is TFW(tuition fee waiver) quota for needy students. You may opt for loans if needed.

There are many students societies in the campus like computer society, photography and trek club and. Many more are there. College celebrates their foundation day with great enthusiasm, and full of entertainment. In general college life is good.
