The admissions are purely based on your inter marks and JEE MAIN if you have written.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Mainly the eligibility to get a seat in SASTRA is to pass your 12th (intermediate) with 98% and there is another choice that you should get good mark's in JEE MAIN exam (minimum of above 150).
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Opting to study at Sastra has so far been the best decision that I have ever taken. The campus is located in quite a remote location boasts a wonderful student crowd and has a strong diversity among the students. It is fairly competitive and is ranked the 25th best college to study engineering in India by the NIRF (national institutional ranking framework). The application process was quite demanding. Applicants need to submit a proof of their high school degree completion. Basically, Sastra admits students through its counseling process which has two different streams. Stream 1 applicants will have to submit their jee-mains score along with their respective board exam scores. Based on those two scores, the weightage will be 70% board exam scores and 30% JEE MAIN score.
