VIT is famous for its 100% placement. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon visit our campuses each year for the placements. Average packages offered are INR 4.5 lakh to INR 10 lakh and the highest package is INR 40 lakh per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

There is three hostel as the total. The hostel fees depend upon the type of room and the mess that you have selected. It can range from INR 70,000 to INR 1.5 lakh per annum. The quality of food is really good and above of my expectations. You have to pay between INR 45 to INR 65 rupees for each meal depending on the type of mess. The overall quality of infrastructure is really good with good wifi connections.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

A student has to write VITEEE entrance exam and should score below 1 lakh of rank to be eligible for counseling.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

our campus has fully flexible Credit System, which means you get to choose the course you want to do and also the faculty that you like and also you can set your own timetable. Quality and method of teaching differ from faculty to faculty. My overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

The course fee is INR 2 lakh per annum. Scholarships schemes are available on the campuses. Loans are easily covered.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There are many students societies and clubs that one can join either for credits or for non credits. There are three main festivals namely TechnoVIT, Gravitas, and Vibrance which are celebrated on the campuses. The overall life in college is full of fun.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took the VITEEE in 2013, it was a relatively simple examination. the cut off for computer science is relatively high, but that was before they started the category system where you can choose to pay extra per annum per category to get the branch of your choice.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are very simple. One needs to have a minimum of around 75% in the 10th and 12th board examinations. To apply to the college, one needs to fill up the application for VIT entrance examination. It's usually online examination though it has detected centres for the same. The rankings are then announced. For computer science and engineering, the cutoff rank usually ranges from 2000-3000 in category 1. They open the latter categories up to category 5 but the tuition fee increases as well.
