Husain Amreliwala's Review on M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering

Software firms contact our college for offering various internships. They can be work from office and paid internships or can be work from home and unpaid internships. Tata consultancy services (TCS) , TerraData, and many more IT firms recruit from our campuses. On an average the students are placed with the package of around INR 3.5 lakh per annum. Alumni network is good here.

Hostels are provided to the students. Food is quite appropriate and costs around INR 60 to INR 70. Classrooms and labs are good.

Eligibility criteria was based on the percentile obtained by merger of the JEE-Mains and H.S.C physics, chemistry and mathematics marks. I have written the JEE-Mains entrance examinations. Cut-offs for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) was above 80 percentile.

Classes are conductedfrom 9 am to 5 pm. Assignments and journals are alsogiven as regular tasks which is suppose to be completed within time frame. Faculties are quite experienced. My overall experience is very good.

My course fee is around INR 1,13,455 per annum. Scholarships of INR 25,000 are offered to those who belong to minorities. More than 80% of the students cover their scholarships. Loans are available.

There are numbers of students committees which is existing and working together in the college. We have ACM, CES, CSI, IEEE, Sace committee, etc. The main festivals hosted by college are ASPIRE and AMBROSIA which are held in the month of march. In general its peaceful and disciplined environment to study here.
