SRM holds a 100% placement record for the past three years. The college sponsors internships and also promotes international internship ties. Average packages offered are INR 10 lakh per annum.

There are 3 girls hostels and 3 boys hostels. The food and facilities are not up to the mark. Wardens can be contacted easily whenever required. PGs are a better option as considered to the condition of the college hostel. PGs cost around INR 7,000 to INR 10,000 per month. Classrooms are still renovating. Most of them are newly done. Labs and libraries are well equipped. There is no wifi on the campuses. However, hostel wifi is available.

A student should have a minimum of 75% marks in the best of their three subjects. One also has to qualify SRMJEEE entrance exam to get the admission. One must secure below 10,000 ranks in SRMJEEE entrance exam to get CSE branch.

CSE students have very busy schedules. There are 8 lectures per day starting from 8 am to 3:40 pm. Each lecture lasts for 50 minutes. Most of the faculties have experienced skills. 

My course fee is INR 2.25 lakh to 2.50 lakh per annum. Loans are easily available.

There are technical clubs which are run by the students. College life here is academics oriented.
