College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are no hostels. Either accommodate yourself in some PGs or rented room/flat. Food in the canteen is hygienic, will get flavors of some delicious south indian foods. An average quality of classroom. The library is the best part of the campuses. Labs are well maintained. Wifi enabled campuses. A Decent infrastructure.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Admission is done on the basis of merit and entrance. For any entrance related notification visit www.du.ac.in. In case of merit-based admission, if you meet the cut-off of our respective college and course(which can be checked on each college's website), then you need to reach the college with required documents and secure your admission. As for my course i.e. B.sc(H), Maths cut off is usually 94+ for general category. Keep visiting the college's website www.andc.du.ac.in during the release of cut off.

Academics and Faculty

4

Classes generally begin from 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, for some courses on an average, classes continue till 3 pm. Projects, assignments, and practicals need to be submitted on time. Faculties are great and that's what makes this college better than others. My overall experience is very good.

Fees and Scholarships

4

The course fee is different for different courses. For Maths(Hons) fees was INR 8,000 to INR 9,000 per annum. Scholarships were provided to the financially weak candidates. Loans won't be needed as such.

Clubs and Associations

4

There are various clubs that will your field of interest. We have a cultural fest in the month of February. It is very enjoyable.

Placements & Internships : There are many intrenships... You can do in college, under think lab, under particular teacher's project in college (called elite), you can apply for internships in other institutes like JNU, IISER Pune, TIFER, ACBR, IGIBetc. You have to give your idea in the form of abstract, which you want to work on. Then depends on your idea, they will select you, also you will get different stipend... If you r doing in college then you will get 2000 and if any other institute then 10000, so different in different institutes. And all these intrenship helds in summer break (june, july)

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I studied physical science chemistry in ANDC. To be eligible for this course you need to have science background in 12th. You need to apply through a common admission form that is available in certain colleges, then you've to apply the colleges of your choice. There is no entrance test for addmission all will depend on the college cut off marks to be matched with yours. Previous year it was around 85%. All the best
