Placements and Internships
Interned at two firms during my third year, that was not through college but college did encourage my internship program. Average salary after you pass out is around 3.5 lakh(INR) per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 30 hostels and another hostel for NRI I think. I am a socialite so I do not know much about that. The labs and the rooms are not that fancy but are very clean and do their job.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
In my year of admission, the eligibility criteria were around 100 marks in KCET. You could get admission through the KCET or also the JEE MAIN. It was necessary to score at least 50% in PCM group in the HSC examinations.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine is well carried out. Teachers are always on time for the class. Quality of teaching varies according to the teacher, there are excellent teachers as well as some really average teachers.
Fees and Scholarships
Course Fee is around 1 lakh. The government provides scholarship based on caste and also to economically backward students. All students of caste get the scholarship.
Clubs and Associations
Lots of student activities are always going on. Cultural fests, technical fests. There is something for everyone and participation is always encouraged.
