Placements & Internships : College gives permission for internships at the beginning of the academic year in the month of June and July. For mechanical, key companies like Hyundai, Bosch, atlas comes to the campus. Other mass recruiters are IBM, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, KIRLOSKAR. Average package is INR 2.9 lakhs/annum and highest is around 18 lakhs/annum. No idea about alumni network.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission through CAP rounds directly to the second year because I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering. There is no separate entrance examination for admission. Percentage obtained in your last year diploma course are considered. There are two shifts for mechanical engineering. For 1st shift cut off for open is around 86% and for obc, it is 85% for sc st, It is around 75% and for 2 shift +/- 2 in above figures.

Fees & Scholarships : BE Course fees at SKNCE Pune for engineering for open is around INR 1 lakh, for obc, it is INR 50000, for sbc, sc, st, It is INR 15000. Actual fees may vary by INR 5K to 10K according to branch and year. There is a wide range of scholarships provided by Government. Almost everyone who fits in criteria of the scholarship gets its benefits. Student loan is also easily available from any nationalised bank.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are conducted strictly as per the time table. First shift timing is 8.15 am to 16.30 pm and second shift 11.45 am to 19.00 pm. Teaching is good some professors are too good while some of them lack experience. The overall performance of college is more than average as compared to other colleges.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are plenty of hostels available along with flats and rooms for rent. Accommodation point of view sinhgad vadgaon campus is best. Food in college canteens is average but there are more than 100 options on campus including private mess. There is ventilation problem on -1 and -2 floors. Infrastructure is new but not so appealing.

Clubs & Associations : Campus life is excellent. There are various events throughout the year like carnivals, karandak, and various movie promotions including events like Redbull, spotlight and Garnier freshers.
