If you just want to get placed in a cushy IT job at an MNC, this is the place to be. Almost everyone eligible from the CSE department gets placed with at least 3-3.5 LPA packages without too much trouble.
If you're hoping for a good return on investment, you'll need to work a little harder. 4-7LPA jobs are not unreachable but will require at least some hardwork.
If your aim is of likes of Google and Facebook, this is not the right place since these companies won't visit the campus for at least 5-7 years (being optimistic).
The computer labs have outdated PCs, so better to have your own laptop at all times if you want to do any work. WiFi has a very poor connectivity, although when it runs, the speed is amazing. Transportation is not provided by the college but ample number of auto rickshaws and public buses are available nearby.
Faculty is high on research but low on industry experience. If you're looking to become a great engineer after 4 years, you better depend only at your own efforts.
Plethora of clubs and associations. Positive side is that you get to meet a lot of new people and learn a lot outside the classroom, but the downside is internal politics. Student political is rampant and hampering the growth and is unhelpful in most of the situations.
