Placements and Internships
- Stipend of Rs12400/- is given to all gate qualifying students.
- CSE trade has higher rate of placements as compared to other branches.
- Various programs run for the students at UIET to polish their communication skill and knowledge.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 10 hostels available besides and there are many pg's available around the college campus.
- Food quality is ok in hostel mess but in canteen food quality is very good.
- Infact people came specially for canteen food and the rate will be around Rs.50 for Thali which can be shared by 2 people.
- The quality of classrooms and labs are very good.
- All labs at UIET are well equipped with latest software and Ac.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibilty criteria for getting into M.E at UIET is GATE.
- cut off depends completely on gate score.
- 300 is the minimum gate score for getting admission in cse and 250 is the minimum score for IT.
- After 1st councelling if there is any vacant seats then students can get admission through CET.
Academics and Faculty
- The teaching methodology is excellent as all teachers are well educated and provides a comfortable environment to students also.
- All subjects are taught in a manner so that all can understand it easily.
- Staffs are cooperative and motivative at UIET.
Fees and Scholarships
- Average fee for M.E course at UIET is around Rs 20000/- annually.
- There are many scholarship options to students who dont have parents or whose annual income is less than 2.5 lakh.
- There is fee concession for poor students.
- No need of loans as students can pay their fee with the stipend itself.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many fest and organisations for students like Goonj at UIET.
- Atmosphere is awesome for students especially for girls.
- All the festivals are celebrated inside the campus.
