Entrance Exams & Admissions : Minimum 83% marks for general category and for sc, st, nt it is 70%+.
Academics & Faculty : I studied B.Com through S.K.Somaiya College. Its a 3 year programme with 6 papers every year. The syllabus is as mandated by Mumbai University which is more of bookish knowledge. Hence the classroom lectures were always very boring. However cannot blame college for that. Quality of faculty was average, there were few good professors, however they were more inclined towards personal coaching classes, hence would solicit students for the same.
