Till now I have not done any internships but it is an important part as you get an industry knowledge through it. LNT is the main company that our college has combined with. Students get an average salary of 4 to 4.5 Lakhs rupees per annum for a B.Tech degree.
There is a boys hostel next to the college but with a limited number of rooms. PG's and other options are there close to the college with an average of 7-10k per month. Food is good and hygienic and the rates are subsidized. The infrastructure of the college is very good. Each and everything is furnished and all the facilities are available in the college.
The entrance exam to be taken is NPAT which is an internal exam of NPAT college. The syllabus is basic maths, logical and critical reasoning. Eligibility criteria are that u should have passed your 12th standard and should secure at least 50% in Physics Chemistry and Maths. You get a rank in your NPAT according to which you are called to the college and if the slot in that branch is available, you will get the seat.
Usually, the college starts at 9 am and it ends at 4 pm for most of the students. There are total 3 internal tests and one final exam. There is a slot of 20 marks for projects/assignment. The teaching is better in comparison with other colleges, but I feel they should hire better faculty with respect to the fees they charge. Overall experience is average.
My course fee is 2.7Lakhs per year. No scholarship is available for students. Education loans are available from banks.
There are many student committees in the college, the two main being the student's council and the MUN. Sattva, Taqneeq, Mumbai MUN are the main festivals of the campus. College life is very chilled over here as well as competitive.
