Entrance Exams and Admissions
First of all, you should give WBJEE entrance exam then through the e-counseling process you can take admission in JGEC. There is nothing about cut-off because every year it varies. But I think you should rank lesser than 5000 if you want to take admission.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must clear the WBJEE exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. The cutoff rank must be below 17000.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : candidates need to pass in wbjee. I took wbjee for my admission. My rank was pwd 87 and overall rank was 53000

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are very lenient and not at all demanding. The quality and method of teaching requires improvement It is a decent institution.
