Placements and Internships

3

No, I haven't applied for any internship programs. There are, however, a number of high-ranking companies that visit our university during the placement season and hire from our campus. Average salary figures range from INR 2 to INR 3 lakhs, and the highest salary figures range from INR 18 Lakh to INR 23 lakh per year with almost 100% placement for the MBA, BBA, Engineering, and mass communications batches.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are in total 3 hostels.2 for the boys and 1 for the girls. The hostels are good but one major drawback for it is the food in the mess, as well as the water in the washrooms for it, has a HUGE amount of salt. The salty water has affected the health of a no. of students. The hostel fees had recently been increased from 45 thousand to 50 thousand. The food in the college canteens is good and at a reasonable cost. The classrooms have been further divided into lecture theatres and normal classrooms, the library is well equipped with every magazine and book, also wifi facility is available all around the campus.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria were 10+2 education, the admission procedure comprised of a screening test and after that a personal interview with the corresponding courses' faculty. There was only 1 entrance test I took that was SET. The typical cut-offs of my course was actually a combined result of the outcomes of the screening test, the personal interview as well as the 10+2 result

Academics and Faculty

3.5

The daily routine comprises of an 8-hour schedule from 9:15 a.m in the morning till 5:15 pm in the evening. The method and quality of teaching are what the whole university is built upon. In my department, there are excellent teachers which use very effective and efficient methods to teach us and studying never seems a workload or a pressure. All the assignments given are very interesting and fun to do. I wouldn't trade the whole experience of my being in this college for anything.... however I can't say the same for the hostel experience and the meeting new people thing.

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

My course fee (per year) is 45 thousand rupees. The scholarship options range from students who have obtained above 70% in their 10+2 education. Average no. of students who get awarded scholarship cannot be estimated properly as there is a large no.

Clubs and Associations

1

Not many student societies are known to have been made. Many fests are organized by different departments on campus.Life in college, in general, is very boring indeed, excluding all the study schedule, but not a day goes by without me thinking about home...this shows how lovely the hostel facility is.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There were an interview and an essay writing exercise. There was no such entrance exam, I think that essay was the only part of entrance exam.
