Akhum Longchar's Review on Alpine Group of Institutes

Alpine group of institutes, Dehradun creates a platform where students can showcase their talents which different companies seek to explore and utilize. The students are successfully placed and are giving their services on many renowned organizations including government/semi-government as well as private sectors. The college has two Hostels for both boys and girls. The Hostels are very clean with great facilities. The hostel provides 24 hours water supply (both hot and cold water) and clean drinking water, laundry facility, unlimited wifi facilities, transportation to and fro college, 24 hours security with armed guards, provide very good food both veg and non-veg a day with tea and snacks in between. The hostel also have a separate canteen which is open 24 hours. If the student doesn't want to reside in the college hostel, there are also plenty of private Hostel and PGs for both boys and girls nearby the college. The college has one Library which has varieties of books which the students can refer or borrow from the library.

I am doing my M.Sc in the department of Zoology. The eligibility criteria for M.Sc (Zoology) is that the candidate should have B.Sc CBZ (chemistry, botany, and zoology) or equivalent with 50% aggregate for this course. In case of a downloaded form, attach a demand draft of INR 1000/- in favour of (Alpine Institute of Management and Technology) payable at Dehradun.

Class timings are from 9:45 am to 2:30 pm, Five periods each of one hour. The college also has separate laboratories for different subjects where students are guided to perform their practical experiments. Apart from regular classes, project works and assignments related to the subject are given to students which have to be prepared and submitted by the students and students are given their internal marks according to their performance. The quality of teaching is excellent. The institute has experienced teachers who are dedicated to embark their knowledge to the society and continuously strive to benefit the students with the best quality education.

Course Fee for M.Sc (Zoology) is INR 25000/- per semester and INR 5000/- registration fee has to be paid at the time of admission.

The college has an NSS program which aims to inculcate social service and thoughts of social welfare for the society in students. The college also has a hobby club which gives students an unparalleled opportunity to bring out the inherent talent and provide them a platform to bring their hobbies to great creativity. Students also indulge in sports activities such as Cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and athletics.
