Atul Saini's Review on Shivaji College, Delhi University

The college has its own Placement Cell which has a tie up with many big companies and students get placed on-campus. The stipend is also very good. Currently, internships are not provided by the Placement Cell on their own but they have tied up with Internshala(internship platform), where a number of internships are available.

However college is not having its own hostel, PGs and rooms on rent are easily available. The library is well stocked and stacked, by using computer technology they keep an active track on books available in the library.

Admissions in Shivaji College or any other college of Delhi University are based on merit(except some courses in which admissions are there on entrance test basis). You have to score good marks to get admitted to any of the colleges of Delhi University. As Shivaji College is 'A' accredited by NAAC, it's obvious that its cut off goes higher than other colleges. For this year(2017-18), cut off for B. Com (Hons) was 98%.

The classes start from 9 am to 5 pm and teachers also use the modern methods to teach.

The fee structure for B. Com(Hons) first year is INR 17300 and for the second year, the fee is INR 14300. Various scholarships are provided by the college, university, state and national level.

There are many societies dealing with different fields like fashion, music, theatre, dance, public speaking, and much more. Each of the society observes its own festivals, seminars and sessions are conducted, the college life is really enjoyable.
